OUR CAT
We have a cat
Which I always pat
On the back of the neck,
For which Mom gives ire heck.
She always says, "My lands,
Go wash your hands,"
Which I do. . .
But I'm asking you,
What's the use of a cat
That you cannot pat?
Mary Jane Reighard
